This variable speed pool pump comes equipped with a system that detects the position of the selector valve and transmits it to the pump to automatically activate or deactivate the operating cycle according to said position, thanks to the detector device that is placed on the lever. of the selector valve, obtaining maximum comfort and efficiency.

An example of its vocation and work for energy efficiency is the 3M Silenplus pump, which incorporates a frequency converter with an important innovation in its operation: it adapts the set to the application of the pool, varying the speeds in the work cycles. Why a variable speed pool pump?
In order to understand how a variable speed pool pump works, it is best to compare the pump with a light bulb. With a traditional pool pump, just like a light bulb is either on or off. In this way it always works at maximum power or at maximum speed. A variable speed pool pump is equivalent to having a dimmer for the light bulb. So you can choose to make the lamp less bright at the end of the day, for example. Less energy is used. On the pool pump, you can leave the pump running at a lower rpm.

But what's the point in having a pool pump running at the lowest speed?
At night, the pool is usually covered and therefore there is less pollution in the water, in this case the water does not need to be filtered as often.
