Hydropneumatic dual control unit, with Varisytem speed variation, made up of the following equipment:
Two electric pumps from the Stairs brand, consisting of vertical centrifugal monobloc pumps, equipped with an electric motor for three-phase current of 400 Volts, 50 Hz, 2890 Rpm, IP55, vertical assembly;
Autoclave with food grade rubber membrane pre-charged with air;
Pressure transducer; Stainless steel compression manifold;
Check valve on each pump;
Compression cut-off valve on each pump;
General shut-off valve;
Settlement base;
Cabinet for storing all control and protection equipment;
Two VACON 100 FLOW variable speed drives, of Finnish origin, installed in the electrical power cabinet. VACON 100 FLOW is a frequency converter dedicated to improving flow control in water and wastewater applications with features specifically developed for flow control applications. Includes as standard: RFI filter (hospital grade); Graphic display with Portuguese; Ethernet and RS485; Real-time clock (alarm and fault recording with real date and time); Plastic foil capacitors (without electrolytic); Variable speed cooling fan;
The programming of the regulating unit parameters can be completely or partially blocked by means of a password. The regulator unit contains terminals for:
Lack of water contact;
Pump service signaling;
Failure signaling;
Pressure transducer;
Motor;
Mains power.
Microprocessor contained in the control unit provides, with the help of the interface installations with several pumps (maximum 4 units), both a completely automatic pump service sequence depending on consumption, as well as cyclical alternation of the service of the interconnected pumps and the start of the next pump in case of failure of one of the pumps, without any external control.
Likewise, the control unit includes a memory of the failure and test start signals for each pump after a programmable rest period.
The special, integrated pressure regulation means that the pump stops working immediately when consumption is zero. The pump output is indirectly ascertained through the number of revolutions and makes it possible to increase or decrease the pressure depending on consumption, to conduct the differential pressure according to a specific curve for the system, with freely programmable parameters.
A built-in power supply supplies current to the mounted, high precision steel differential pressure transducer with 4 - 20 mA output signal.
The operation of the variator meets the most demanding demands for comfort through constant flow or proportional pressure (compensation for increase and load losses in the network due to the increase in flow), smoothly supplying the required flow without current peaks or water hammer due to smooth starting and stopping. This system reduces energy costs and maintenance costs.
