Funcionamento

During normal fluid flow, the plug moves until the mushroom-shaped base contacts the identically shaped base on the plug guide, thus forming a biconical unit, the outer surfaces of which form together with the inner surface of the valve. , a venturi-shaped channel, having a constant cross section throughout its length. Thus, the flow at the valve inlet is equally distributed by the obturator tip, to enter the duct delimited by the shape of the external and central surfaces. This eliminates turbulence both at the inlet and outlet of the valve, thus reducing head loss to a minimum.
