Product Description
RA25A Multifunction Toggle Relay
Alternation command for hydropressor plant or effluent plant with 2 electric pumps + alarm.
Operation
If one of the options for hydropressor plants (PAB or PAS) is selected, and there is water in the reservoir, indicated by the lack of water alarm command (6-9) closed, whenever the alternation command (6-8) closes, the output relays (1-3) and (1-4) arm alternately. If the simultaneity command (6-7) also closes, the relay causes the two outputs (1-3) and (1-4) to remain closed simultaneously. If this command reopens, nothing changes, the two output relays remaining closed until the alternation command (6-8) opens. Whenever the high level alarm command (6-11) closes, the alarm output (1-5) is activated. If there is no water in the tank, the two outlets (1-3) and (1-4) remain open. If the lack of water alarm command (6-9) is implemented by float, when the water is restored, the relay allows outputs (1-3) and (1-4) to arm immediately, if implemented by probes, the relay only allows outputs (1-3) and (1-4) to arm after 4 minutes.
If one of the options for effluent plants (WA or WAT) is selected, whenever the stop command (6-9) and the alternation command (6-8) close, the output relays (1-3) and (1-4) arm alternately, only turning off when the stop control (6-9) opens. If the simultaneity command (6-7) closes, or in the option with timed simultaneity command, if the toggle command (6-8) is closed for a time greater than 10 minutes, the relay causes both outputs ( 1-3) and (1-4) remain closed at the same time. If any of the alternation (6-8) or simultaneity (6-7) commands reopen, nothing changes and the two output relays remain on until the stop command (6-9) opens. If the high level alarm command (6-11) closes, the alarm output (1-5) is activated.
In any of the operating modes, in the event of failure of some of the controls, the relay allows alternative operation, as a way of avoiding blocking the entire system.
In order to avoid hydraulic shocks, the relay has a device that delays the cut-off or start-up of the second electric pump by approximately 2s, even if the simultaneity command has been carried out together with the alternation command.
