WEG Thermal Relays RW27-2D

WEG series RW overload relays protect loads against undue heating caused by overloads or phase failure. When we have an overload or a phase failure in the circuit, there is an increase in the motor current. This current rise triggers the triggering mechanism that will act on the auxiliary contacts 95-96 (NC) and 97-98 (NO). Auxiliary contacts disconnect the load via a contactor. The shutdown time is related to the overload current and the current set in the relay, which is duly represented in the relay tripping curve. After disarming, you must wait for the system to be restored before resetting it, which can be done manually or automatically.
