Product Description

Well Level Panel - Tank

Control and protection of electric pumps used to fill tanks, by collecting water from wells, artesian wells or other reservoirs.

Presentation

Plastic box 250x200x140 mm in grey ABS RAL7035 with hinge and transparent polycarbonate lid.
Danfoss / WEG contactor and thermal relay.
Level relay for level control in the well and tank.
Automatic, manual or off operation, controlled by a 3-position switch with protective capsule.
Short-circuit protection via circuit breaker.
Overload protection via thermal relay.
Indication of presence of water in the tank (green LED on the level relay).
Indication of lack of water in the tank (red LED on the level relay).
Indication of presence of water in the well (green LED on the level relay).
Indication of lack of water in the well (red LED on the level relay).
Indication of automatic operation panel (yellow indicator).
Engine on indication (green indicator).
Thermal trip indication (red indicator).
4 glands, for passing connection cables.

How it Works

Once all connections have been made correctly, the thermal relay must be adjusted according to the nominal current of the motor. The panel must show all signals switched off until the control circuit switch is switched to the automatic (AUT) position, at which point the yellow indicator light turns on.

The level relay reads the water levels through the probes in the well and in the tank. Whenever the level in the tank drops below the Min probe (red LED on “tank” on the level relay) and there is water in the well (green LED on “well” on the level relay), the pump turns on (green indicator), turning off if the tank fills up (green LED on “tank” on the level relay) or if there is no water in the well (red LED on “well” on the level relay).

With the control circuit switch in the manual position, the pump turns on regardless of whether there is water in the tank or not, but will not turn on if there is no water in the well.

Triggering of the thermal relay due to overload (red light) causes the pump to switch off, regardless of the status of any of the controls.
