O QUE É:
The FILTRO COLOMBO® FILTRO PULCINO® is made up of a special electric pump and a filtering system called a liquid system with pressed layers.
for this reason it is particularly appreciated for domestic filtration, but also in the professional sector, such as wineries, pharmaceutical factories, laboratories, breweries;
in short, whenever it is necessary to filter a drink in order to be able to serve or bottle it perfectly clear and without any trace of unwanted residues.

COMO FUNCIONA:
It is particularly suitable for filtering wine, water, infusions, beers, pharmaceutical solutions, perfumes.
It requires no special maintenance other than normal cleaning.
Filtering is the last stage of wine production and requires knowledge of some basic precautions.
A young wine (30 days old) is not ready for fine filtration.
By following our instructions, you will find the right way to obtain good filtration with the COLOMBO® FILTRO PULCINO® FILTER.
1. For best results, the wine should be aged for at least two to three months and brought to room temperature before filtering.
During this time the wine takes shape and allows the largest amount of suspended parts to settle.
At this point, use the COLOMBO® FILTRO PULCINO® FILTER to finish the wine.
If you want a superior finish, use the brightening filters.
Remember to wait between two and four days between one filter and another.
2. If, on the other hand, you want to filter a young wine (30 days), you should always use a thinning filter first; then you can use a filter to finish.
During filtration, young wine is made agitated by the presence of CO2 (carbon dioxide) created during fermentation; wait a few hours before bottling the wine.

QUAIS OS LÍQUIDOS PODEM TRANSFERIR:
It is possible to use the pump to transfer any type of clean liquid in common use, which must not be chemically aggressive or abrasive.
Some examples: water, wine, milk, vinegar, low viscosity oily solutions, neutral fluid detergents, diesel.
Liquid viscosity should not be more than 4 cps for continuous service with free delivery
and must not exceed 20 cps for intermittent service with free delivery and presence of an operator for surveillance.

MANUTENÇÃO:
Normal maintenance requires some simple interventions, as if it were a normal household appliance.
After use, pour clean water to rinse the pump's internal surfaces.
The electric motor is maintenance-free, there are no parts to lubricate.
Cleaning the external parts should be done with a slightly damp sponge and then dry immediately with a cloth.
