Product Description
PROBOMBA Digital Level Panel
No need to use probes to protect and control electric pumps
Presentation
Plastic box 250x200x140 mm in grey ABS RAL 7035, with hinge and transparent polycarbonate lid.
WEG contactor.
Digital electronic relay for control and protection of PRObomba electric pumps
Automatic (AUT), manual (I) or off (0) operation, controlled by a 3-position switch with protective capsule.
Connection for remote safety control (C11-C12) (float, pressure switch or others).
Connection for remote start/stop control (P11-P12) (pressure switch, float switch or others)
Short-circuit protection via circuit breaker.
Indication of automatic operation panel (yellow indicator).
Engine on indication (green indicator).
4 glands, for passing connection cables.
How it Works
The panel must show all signals switched off until the control circuit switch is switched to the automatic (AUT) position, at which point the yellow indicator turns on.
If the start/stop command (P11-P12) closes, the pump turns on (green indicator and “PWR”, “COM” and “OUT” LEDs on the PRObomba relay), turning off if the start/stop command reopens.
If during operation the PRObomba relay detects a consumption higher than the maximum parameter or lower than the minimum for more than 4 seconds, the pump switches off and the cause of the defect is indicated on the relay display as “EIH” - overcurrent error or “EIL” - undercurrent error. If the anomaly detected was due to undercurrent, automatic reset will be attempted 3 times at intervals of 5 min., 5 min. (factory default value but can be changed by the user), with the last reset attempted after 99 min., after which the relay switches off definitively. If the anomaly detected was due to overcurrent, the pump switches off and the relay does not attempt any reset. Manual reset can be performed using the “RST” reset key on the Probomba relay or via the control circuit switch, simply by turning it off and on again.
Whenever during operation it is found that the supply voltage is higher than the maximum parameter or lower than the minimum (factory preset values) for more than 4 seconds, the PRObomba Relay display indicates every 4 seconds (“EUH” - overvoltage error or “EUL” - undervoltage error).
Opening the safety control (C11-C12) switches off the pump, regardless of the start/stop control indications. If the safety control is not to be used, it must be closed using a shunt.
With the control circuit switch in the manual position, the pump starts regardless of the status of the start/stop control.
