Key indicators for calculating consumption

There are two basic indicators to measure the performance of your heat pump: power and coefficient of performance (COP) . These indicators are used to compare different heat pumps with each other, always carrying out calculations at the same temperature ( air and water ) and under the same humidity conditions.
The power, expressed in kW , indicates the amount of heat transmitted to the pool water.
The coefficient of performance (COP) is calculated on the same basis, it is the ratio between the power supplied by the heat pump and the power it consumes. Therefore, the higher the COP , the greater the heating power of the pump, the greater its performance and the greater the savings.
A good heat pump has an efficiency of at least 3.4 , calculated under standard conditions ( air at 15 ° C / water at 26 ° C / 70% humidity ) .
For example, a coefficient of performance of 5 means that for every 1 kW of electricity consumed, the heat pump delivers 5x more energy to the pool water, or 5 kW .

Hydraulic Connections

The connection must be made using a PVC ø50 pipe, using the half-union unions provided in the pool filtration circuit, after the filter and before the water treatment.
Respect the direction of the hydraulic connection
It is mandatory to install a by-pass to facilitate interventions on the device.
