Key indicators to calculate consumption
There are two basic indicators to measure the performance of your heat pump: the power and the coefficient of performance (COP). These indicators are used to compare different heat pumps with each other, always carrying out the calculations at the same temperature (air and water) and under the same humidity conditions.
Power, expressed in kW, indicates the amount of heat transmitted to the pool water.
The coefficient of performance (COP) is calculated on the same basis, it is the ratio between the power supplied by the heat pump and the power it consumes. Therefore, the greater the COP, the greater the heating power of the pump, the greater its performance and greater savings.
A good heat pump has an efficiency of at least 3.4, calculated under standard conditions (15 °C air / 26 °C water / 70% humidity).
For example, a coefficient of performance of 5 means that for every 1 kW of electricity consumed, the heat pump supplies 5 times more energy to the pool water, or 5 kW.

Hydraulic Connections

The connection must be made using a ø50 PVC pipe, using the half-joints provided in the pool filtration circuit, after the filter and before the water treatment.
Respect the direction of hydraulic connection
It is mandatory to install a by-pass to facilitate interventions on the device.
