It is important to emphasize that the automatic vacuum cleaner should be seen as a complement to pool cleaning and not as a solution for a neglected and dirty pool.
Pool robots are a valuable tool in pool maintenance. Customers who use pool robots generally choose to purchase a new one as soon as the life of the current one ends. Considering that, during a swimming season, the pool may need manual cleaning around 50 times, with the help of the automatic vacuum cleaner, this service will only be necessary 2 or 3 times (normally at the beginning of the season or when the pool is extremely dirty) .
Before placing the automatic vacuum cleaner in the pool for maintenance, it is recommended to follow these steps:
- Scrub the walls and bottom of the pool to remove algae and dirt.
- Manually vacuum the pool if it is very dirty, directing the water into the sewer.
- Carry out shock chlorination if necessary.
- Adjust the pH to ideal levels.
