Algaecides

Chlorine has been one of the most widely used and effective algaecides in swimming pools. Its antimicrobial action kills microorganisms such as algae and other contaminants, in addition to keeping the water clean and safe for bathing. However, chlorine is not always enough to completely eradicate algae, which means that sometimes more powerful treatments are needed. This is where algaecides come in.
